A Place Where Your Child Can Truly Thrive
We know how hard it can be to watch your child struggle in an environment that doesn’t seem to fit. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, emotional-based school avoidance (EBSA), unmet needs, or simply looking for a space where your child can feel safe and valued, Wildflower Meadows is here for you.
We are an alternative provision—not a school. Our focus is on providing a nurturing, child-centred space where children feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow in their own way. We take a relationship-first approach, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and builds trust at their own pace.
Where We Are & Our Plans
We are based in West Berkshire and are in the final stages of confirming our lease agreements and securing our site. We will announce our official location very soon!
We are planning to open Easter 2025 and will be welcoming children as soon as possible after that.
We work in partnership with Local Authorities, schools, and families to offer a safe, flexible environment tailored to each child's needs.
Who We Support
Wildflower Meadows is designed for children who:
✔ Are struggling in mainstream education due to anxiety, EBSA, trauma, or unmet needs.
✔ Need a more flexible, therapeutic environment.
✔ Are home educated and looking for a space to connect, engage in hands-on experiences, and build confidence.
✔ Need an alternative pathway while preparing for reintegration into education.
Children do not need an EHCP to attend, but we do work with Local Authorities and schools for funded placements where applicable.
What We Offer
🌿 A flexible, nurturing space We offer 1-3 days per week (subject to availability) in a setting that prioritises emotional well-being, confidence-building, and meaningful experiences.
🎨 Hands-on, child-led activities From nature-based learning to cooking, crafting, gardening, and practical life skills, we follow children’s interests to make learning enjoyable and engaging.
💛 A therapeutic approach No rewards or punishments—just understanding, connection, and support. Our experienced facilitators help children build resilience, independence, and self-esteem.
🤝 Community & family support Raising a neurodivergent child can feel isolating. That’s why we offer workshops, family sessions, and a supportive network of like-minded parents.
Next Steps
We are not yet taking admissions, but we are working hard behind the scenes and will be opening spaces soon.
📩 Join our mailing list to be the first to hear when admissions open and get priority on spaces (subject to our admissions process, ability to meet your child’s needs, and availability).
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
